God’s Wisdom and Help

Several times I have seen lots of men and women who have tried to face life challenges all alone. They practice self-discipline to a great extent, set wonderful goals and are determined to follow through. Often times they made some remarkable success especially in the acquisitation of great education and material success. Many of these kinds of people are usually boastful, proud, unkind and inconsiderate. To them every problem must be tackled in their own way. They neither seek the wisdom nor the help of God.

The situation described above is not novel. History reveals that such were the life style of some who were at some point in their lives considered as being great. Most of these men amassed great wealth to themselves and equally made great saving but as the tempest of these life rises up they were thrown into confusion, dismay, frustration and shameful death. The most painful aspect of it all is that the majority of these people were hardly remembered even among their predecessors who took over from them in their various former positions.

To seek and obtain God’s wisdom, help and direction in all we set our mind and hands to do is the crown of all true success.We must face this unquestionable reality that our lives and all our pursuits are worthless and empty without having intimacy and harmony with God’s purpose for us.Having God’s wisdom and help is then the only secret in which every other secrets is rooted,for without Him we can do absolutely nothing.

Most Men  seek the help and the wisdom of God when they have exploited all their human effort and reasoning. They think they can do it all alone. They employ all kinds of thought and ideas as far as their canal mind  and reasoning could allow them. They imagine all kinds of thing, including those which were in direct contrast to the will and the desire of God concerning them.Regreatable; many spend their lives in this state of mess and confusion. They are actually living, but for what purpose, often pursuing money and fame but for what end. Some consider most of these set of people as successful men and women simply because they themselves are not aware of what actually constitute a successful life.

Our most essential goal in life must be to continually seek the wisdom and the help of God in our entire endeavour.We mustn’t wait until we are utterly helpless and virtually exhausted and confused in life before we seek for His guidance.This regrettably is the practice and habit of most people.

The state of a man without God’s guidance and help is a very pitiable one. It is a life without focus and purpose. It is a life void of real significance and meaning. It is a shallow and empty life. It is a very busy and restless life, full of activities but supremely unfruitful in the sight of God.

Having considered all that I have mentioned so far, this seems to me one of the most essential secret to total success.Here, just as in the beginning of this great consideration the concept of success is a holistic approach. It embraces success in all aspect of life. We must realize that first we are the product of God. We are not the one that brought ourselves down here. Second He has given us steps and guidline on how we should conduct ourselves for the short while that we are going to be around here. Third and most importantly, it is as we  honestly seek that path and the guided instructions that He made for  us that we will rightly dwell in genuine and abundance success (Joshua 1.8).

Have you been running your life and profession without God’s wisdom and help?I think is high time you stop and ponder.Be wise now and make an about turn.Seek the Lord,His wisdom and help . He will certainly help you if you seek Him with all your heart.Jesus surely cares about you and your profession.
